Alex, a young girl, is among those who are relocated to a new planet after humanity is forced to flee their dying world. On this new planet, they must coexist with an alien species called Kir. As an assistant cartographer, Alex joins a world-exploration expedition, where she meets Yunoire, a stowaway.
As Alex gets to know her new friend, she learns that Kir have the ability to manipulate human minds. This revelation is concerning for Alex, as both her boss and Yunoire have this power. Alex must navigate these relationships and decide who to trust in this new world.

As a Nixie type Kir, Yunoire is able to breathe underwater and move through the water with ease. She is also able to, like other Kir, control human minds.
Captain Charlotte
Captain Charlotte is a skilled ship captain who is determined to explore, map, and chart the new planet that Humans and Kirs have been relocated to. She is a strong-willed and decisive leader, with a clear vision for her mission and the skills to see it through.
She is highly respected by her crew for her expertise and leadership.
Despite the challenges of her mission, Charlotte is optimistic and determined. She is not afraid to take risks and push the boundaries of what is known, always seeking out new discoveries and opportunities to learn.
